A WLTP figure of 467 to 498km on an island you can cross in under an hour means the battery is not what limits your day. What limits your day is where you can charge and when. A vehicle that returns to the same yard nightly and charges on a depot schedule has effectively unlimited range for local work.
The industry sells electric commercial vehicles on nought-to-hundred times and headline range because those numbers compare cleanly across a spec sheet. Neither appears anywhere in a fleet operating budget. Energy cost per 100 kilometres does, and at 17.0 to 18.0kWh/100km you can calculate that against your own tariff in about a minute.
